I am a pharmacist and the pharmacy reddit says that patients try to get pricing on their meds from Amazon and then Amazon goes ahead and transfers all the patients prescriptions from their normal pharmacy without permission. Because like any pharmacy, they have to deal with billing insurance, no refills, pharmacist verifying, and annoyed customers who can't get their meds. Learnt it the hard way, if you order medicines from Amazon pharmacy and the package is not delivered or missing, Amazon does not send a replacement, you need to get a new prescription from your doctor and only then can you get the medicines from Amazon pharmacy.
